4. Third-Party Services

Nolena may use third-party service providers to operate parts of its service, including authentication, hosting, databases, analytics, payment processing, booking integrations, communications, and other technical services.

These providers may process information on our behalf or, where they act independently, under their own applicable policies. Categories may include cloud hosting and database providers, Google authentication, payment processors, analytics providers, communications services and booking or distribution partners. We share information only as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes or where otherwise legally permitted.

Location functionality is used to support features such as walking navigation and location-aware tour experiences.

Location access may depend on permissions provided by your device or browser.

Depending on the feature and your permissions, location may be processed to determine proximity to tour stops, support route guidance, validate tour progress and generate diagnostic or usage events. The extent to which location-related events are stored depends on the functionality in use and the applicable system configuration.

You can control location permissions through your device or browser settings.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal or regulatory requirements.

Retention periods vary by data category, operational need and applicable legal obligations. For example, financial transaction records may need to be kept longer than routine diagnostic data. We review retention and deletion requests subject to security, dispute-resolution and statutory recordkeeping requirements.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or otherwise control certain uses of your information.

Where required, we seek to use appropriate contractual, technical or other safeguards for international transfers in accordance with applicable law.

12. Cookies and Analytics

Nolena and its service providers may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for authentication, security, service operation and, where implemented, analytics. The specific technologies and any consent choices depend on the features deployed and applicable law. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technologies, we will seek it before using them.
