Nolena Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. About Nolena
Nolena provides digital, self-guided city experiences and walking tours that users can access through the Nolena website and supported applications or platforms.
The service may be purchased directly from Nolena or made available through third-party sales and distribution partners.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a tour, or accessing or using Nolena, you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to applicable law.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service. If you purchase through a third-party platform, that platform may impose additional terms.
3. User Accounts
Certain Nolena features require an account.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the security of your account and authentication credentials.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
4. Access to Tours
Access to a Nolena tour is provided according to the entitlement associated with the user's account and the applicable purchase, promotional, partner, or other access conditions.
Access may be limited by the applicable tour, language, validity period, device or other conditions disclosed to the user before purchase or activation, as applicable.
Access obtained through a third-party sales channel may require the user to complete an account or activation process with Nolena.
5. Purchases Through Third Parties
Some Nolena tours may be sold or distributed through third-party platforms.
Where a tour is purchased through a third-party platform, the purchase transaction may be subject to that platform's own terms, payment conditions, cancellation policies, and other applicable rules.
Nolena may receive information from the relevant distribution or booking platform that is necessary to provide the purchased service.
6. Payments and Refunds
Where a purchase is made directly through Nolena, payment is processed through the payment method and provider presented during checkout.
Where a purchase is made through a third-party platform, payment and refund arrangements may be governed by that platform's applicable terms and policies.
Cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights depend on the terms disclosed at checkout, the relevant sales channel and mandatory consumer-protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a purchased tour is materially inaccessible due to a problem attributable to Nolena, contact support with the order details so we can assess an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
7. Use of the Service
You may use Nolena only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to protected content, accounts, payment or entitlement systems;
- copy, record, download in bulk, reproduce, redistribute, publish, sublicense, resell, or commercially exploit protected Nolena content without authorization;
- use automated scraping, harvesting or extraction tools to systematically collect protected tour materials, except where permitted by mandatory law or expressly authorized;
- circumvent access controls, share or sell account credentials or tour entitlements, or provide access to others outside the permitted license;
- use protected tour content to build or populate a competing commercial tour library, or for machine-learning training, without permission, except where applicable law permits such use;
- interfere with the operation or security of the service;
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
8. Tour Content and Intellectual Property
Nolena and its licensors retain all rights in the Nolena website, tour content, narration, text, images, audio, software, branding, and other materials unless otherwise stated.
Access to a tour does not transfer ownership of any Nolena intellectual property to the user.
Subject to payment or other valid entitlement, Nolena grants you a limited, revocable where legally permissible, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the applicable tour for personal, non-commercial use during the disclosed access period. No rights are granted beyond those expressly stated.
Historical facts, public landmarks and third-party materials are not claimed as Nolena property merely because they appear in a tour. Third-party content remains subject to its owners' rights and applicable licenses. You may not remove copyright notices or attribution information.
9. Location and Real-World Use
Nolena may provide walking routes, maps, location information, directions, and other information intended to support a self-guided experience.
Such information is provided for informational and navigational assistance. Users remain responsible for their own safety, decisions, route choices, and compliance with local laws, regulations, signs, closures, and instructions.
Conditions at real-world locations may change, including opening hours, access restrictions, construction, weather, traffic, and public events.
GPS positions, routes and arrival notifications may be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable, particularly indoors, underground or in dense urban areas. Do not rely on the app as an emergency, accessibility or safety-navigation service.
Remain aware of traffic, uneven surfaces, stairs, crowds and local conditions; stop walking before reading or interacting with your device. Do not enter restricted or unsafe areas to reach a mapped point. If a route is unsafe or inaccessible, use a lawful, safe alternative or discontinue the tour.
10. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Nolena available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party services, network conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
11. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary, including tour content, features, technical infrastructure, or supported integrations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nolena will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury or any other matter to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Nolena's aggregate contractual liability relating to a particular purchased tour will not exceed the amount paid directly to Nolena for that tour; this limit does not restrict non-excludable consumer rights or liabilities.
13. Termination or Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including in cases of misuse, unauthorized access, fraud, violation of these Terms, or other circumstances permitted by law.
14. Privacy
Your use of Nolena is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page together with the applicable update date.
16. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or other rights applicable in your country of residence. Any dispute-resolution or jurisdiction rules are subject to non-waivable applicable law.
